So... I guess a spike every 20 seconds is good enough so- a spike every 20 seconds on the clock would do right?

I guess to follow this up, if somone were to call, then the next 20 second end would = 0. therefore, anytime some one called we would all be able to sync our call due to the timer. 0 meaning the target should be dead, we could all sync the attacks up accordingly.

If the target needs to die early, say the runner, then we spam call it and that means to attack immediately.

If we need to attack on a specific time... well i dont know, but the 20 sec for the clock seems the cloest i can think of even though we never run anything using spikes anyways. But hey! its an idea. Idea

huge problem i can see from the start is spike patterns... they don't work. 20 secs is a HUGE time in between spikes (sorry) 10 it could work maybe 15 but 20 is useless.. monks will be able to be at full energy again after 20 seconds. imo the best thing would be spike on 0:40, focus fire 0:50, spike again 1:00, etc. that way the monks wont be able to sense a pattern. also, if you do 20 seconds, you cant really switch targets if they SoD them since the meta right now is a HB and a SoD or a WoH and a SoD. if we ran the whole spike at 20, focus fire 30, spike 40, etc. we'd need to run two mesmer probably in order to pressure the monks enough to make mistakes, as well as two evis wars who alternate evis, then either a para, a ranger, or an ele (ele is prefered). another idea would be have the two wars+the free to spike on the 10 30 and 50 in order to keep pressure up while the mesmers can use shame+diversion instead of shatter/eburn/esurge. that way you have multiple pressure spikes, shutdown, and energy denial. spikes work if the other team makes mistakes, so might as well try to force those.

um... ya... except its kind of hard without voice chat to set up irregular patterns... unless for instance u mean spike at 10, then focus fire 10 seconds after, and then spike again at 30... but it still seems kinda to many to often...

or an official universal spike would be every :20, but then if called sooner u go at the next 10?

its incredibly hard to do so much without voice, theory is different from the actual gameplay

everyone can presure, but if u throw spikes in, it puts more pressure on the monks, and has a better chance of killing something.
