Really high defense with the paragon/3 aegis/ward and good offense with mes, para, 3 war. Plenty of KD/Snare and a good bit of interupts. Try it.

Re: AP Build
wow nice build lol, we really should try it sometimes....when i unlock some paragons skills and get my money back to 100k.....but we never had enough ppl..............='(((
oh, btw did u guys see the tournment(GW), when CRY fought VD with a para spike that covered all the basic defenses(two sets of Expel Hexes, two copies of "Shields Up!", two copies of
"Stand Your Ground!", Bladeturn Refrain, "Fallback!", Song of
Purification, Web of Disruption, and "Watch Yourself!"—all on the
Paragons) while VD brought a normal build similiar to the metagame: they had an Avatar of Melandru Dervish, an Eviscerate/Shock Axe Warrior, a
Burning Arrow Ranger, a Mantra of Recovery Mesmer with Shame and
Diversion, and a Restore Condition Monk with Aegis and a Paragon/Warrior with "Shields Up!", "Watch Yourself!", and Defensive
Anthem. They also had an old school Elementalist/Monk flag runner with
Ether Prodigy, Heal Party, and water Hexes. Finally, they had a
Monk/Elementalist with Aegis with Divert Hexes.

and guess what?
CRY got their ass owned, mainly because they got pretty
much no interrupts, while VD have plenty.
And the fact that CRY's monks rely soly on one paragon's
BIP for energy and that hurt them pretty badly
Also, VD was smart enough to catch most of CRY'S
para spikes, so in the 1st minute they got
the shock axe killed, but that's it, CRY tried to spike the Shockaxe war
second time, but they failed, and in the 6th minute, VD pressured CRY
back to their base.
But best of all::: the first month of automated tournaments has come to an end,
culminating in a Saturday showdown of Swiss competition. Although
originally designed for single elimination, this monthly championship
of six Swiss rounds yielded five teams finishing with the same 5 and 1
record: Heart of Ashes and Dust [HAnD], Cry for Eternity [Cry], Virtual
Dragons [vD], Kefi Pallhkari [PAL], and Storm Bearers [SB]. Of these,
[HAnD] wound up with the best score in the Swiss results and emerged
victorious.
